What do you think the world needs the most of right now?

I think it's positive human connection.

And understanding that it's our differences that make us fascinating.

10 years ago I recovered from some significant health challenges

And realized: Health is our greatest wealth, and time is our most valuable resource.

It was 2015; I put tenants in my home, sold everything I owned, and set sail with a one-way ticket abroad.

First stop was Lisboa, and from there, another 19 countries in the first year, 30 by the time I was 30, and 35 before Jan 2020.

After 5 years abroad, I received the internal "Call" to return to my hometown (that I hadn't lived in for 15 years).

Sipping an exotic smoothie in all the exotic places of my dreams started to mean nothing without community to share it with.

So I returned to Cobb County, GA with Purpose: I had seen the best and worst of communities all over the world and felt led to shape ours at home.

Because if I learned anything abroad, it's that:

Shaped by her lived experience, including navigating chronic illness and later spending 5 years overseas living across 35 countries, Christy leads with a human-first approach and proven experience growing organizations.
